The multi-trade model
Most building work needs several trades in the right order. A terrace needs groundwork, then brickwork, then paving. A void property needs clearing, then repairs, then decorating. Get the order wrong and the job stalls.
DBL covers those trades in-house rather than subcontracting each one out. The same team that digs the footings builds the wall and lays the paving, so nobody is waiting on anybody else’s diary.
It also means one quote covering the whole job, one schedule, and one person to ring if something needs changing.
What we specialise in
Structural and external work, finished properly.
The bulk of DBL's work is masonry, groundwork and hard landscaping — the parts of a job that have to be right before anything else can go on top.
One contractor, every trade
Brickwork, carpentry, roofing, plumbing and groundwork are all handled by the same team. You are not left holding three quotes and coordinating them yourself.
Qualified people on site
Site management, skills and street works qualifications are held across the team — including SMSTS, CSCS, CPCS and NRSWA.
Structural work, not just finishing
Retaining walls, level changes and load-bearing masonry are core work here, so a job does not stop when it needs something structural.
Residential and commercial
From a single garden wall to fencing a parking area or turning round a void property, the same process applies.
You deal with one person
One point of contact from the first call through to the last day on site, so nothing gets lost between trades.
