Terraced garden, retaining walls and steps
A sloping rear garden rebuilt as a series of level terraces, with brick retaining walls carrying the change in level and wide stone steps linking them.

Curved terrace to a timber-clad property
A curved porcelain terrace and step built around the ground floor of a timber-clad property, with a brick retaining wall holding back the raised garden behind it.

- Ground prepared and levelled behind the wall
Paving
Sandstone courtyard and side passage
Riven sandstone laid across an enclosed courtyard and the side passage leading to it, worked around existing brick piers, rendered walls and a built-in barbecue.
Work completed
- Riven sandstone paving in a random pattern
- Paving continued through the side passage
- Levels worked to existing steps and thresholds
- Drainage channel run along the building

Grey terrace with charcoal retaining wall
A raised terrace edged with a charcoal brick wall and pale coping, with a pebble channel run along the base to take surface water away from the paving.

Brickwork
Red brick boundary wall
A long boundary wall built in red brick with a soldier course to the head, stepping down in stages to follow the fall of the ground.

Fencing
Close-board fencing to a parking area
Close-board fencing installed around a tarmac parking area, returning at the corner and set on a gravel board along its length.

Close-board fencing to a residential boundary
A run of close-board fencing along a domestic boundary, stepped down the slope of the garden and finished level along the top.
